New Ontario Express Entry Draw Sent Out 1,269 PR Invitations

The Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program OINP has today conducted a draw conducted under the Human Capital Priorities stream and issued 1269 provincial nomination invitations to the Express Entry candidates.

The OINP’s first factor aimed at Express Entry candidates who intend to live in Ontario and who have past work experience in one among 43 occupations categorized as Health care related jobs.

All the candidates who registered their Express Entry ID between September 12, 2023 and September 12, 2024 and had their CRS score between 414 and 444 were eligible for the consideration for the provincial nomination under this OINP draw.

Now the candidates have the chance to respond to the provincial nomination invitation within 45 days.

After OINP deems a nominee eligible, it increases his or her CRS score by 600 points, making it 1,014 and 1,044.

How can I qualify for OINP Express Entry draws?

To be able to apply for an OINP Express Entry draw, you must have the profile with Express Entry and your intent is to live in Ontario.

Thus, there is no need to build a profile for Ontario INP, as the Ontario PNP checks the Express Entry profiles and sends notifications of interest to suitable candidates to participants in the System.

However, OINP notes that, Meeting the eligibility criteria does not guarantee a notification of interest, and receiving a notification of interest does not guarantee that you meet the stream’s criteria or that your application will be approved.

The next essential step when receiving a notification of interest in a program is to ensure one has gone through the requirements to qualify for the program.
