Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) conducted a Canadian Experience Class (CEC) specific Express Entry draw on June 12, 2025, inviting 3,000 candidates to apply (ITAs).
This was an 18-point decrease in comprehensive ranking system (CRS) score compared to the previous CEC round of invitations in May 2025.
Full Details of the Express Entry Draw Today
Below are the full details of the Express Entry draw today.
Number of ITAs Issued: 3,000
CRS Score Cut-Off: 529
Program Targeted: Canadian Experience Class (CEC)
Date of Draw: June 12, 2025
Tie-Breaking Rule: September 28, 2024, at 18:06:46 UTC. This means candidates with a CRS score of 529 or higher who submitted their Express Entry profiles before this timestamp were prioritized.
This invitation is an indication of how Canada has been focusing on in-Canada candidates, especially those with skilled work experience as indicated in its 2025- 2027 Immigration Levels Plan.
CEC program targets individuals with not less than one year of skilled work experience in Canada and therefore, it is an attractive program among temporary residents in the country (international students and foreign workers) to obtain permanent residency.

Is 490 a good CRS score?
A CRS score of 490 is competitive but may not guarantee an invitation to apply (ITA) for Canadian permanent residency through Express Entry.
Higher scores improve your chances, so consider improving your score through additional work experience, education, or language proficiency.
